Welcome
Hello Jennifer Pan.

Do you know what it means to reboot a franchise?
That means you totally remove any structure that was present previously, and you start out fresh and new, and in a new direction.
An example of this would be Batman Begins (2006); a great movie in my opinion. And because it was so successful, we will also be doing this for the movie guild.
Due to my schedule being very very very busy we will not be having “weekly” meetings, but instead we will have one whenever we are able to get it together.
“Outsiders” (ie non-core members) are welcomed at any time of course, but due to past disappointment in member enthusiasm we have stripped the movie guild of “members” and we are now just sticking with “core-group”.
No hard feelings, just tough love; i have not the energy to drive uninspired people at this point, bring inspiration and you are so in.
Also we have a new unit for the core-group, welcome Jennifer Pan (see below post). She shows all the right signs for the type of person we want in the Movie Guild (someone who is interested in movies and is inspired from within to pursue said efforts), so welcome her with much love.

Well, the group got together and we watched Revolver (sorry Mat). It was an excellent show (despite what the lady at Blockbuster said, she doesn’t know what she is talking about). It had some sweet behind the scenes stuff as well.
Mat, sorry, we’ll watch Vanilla Sky (or Donny Darko) next week. So if any of you have Vanilla Sky or Donny Darko, let me know.
Also, Sunday is not working out for the meeting, we are going to be moving the meetings to either Friday or Saturday. If you have a preference, be sure to let it be known. This will allow us to meet later in the evening (when more people are available), and to spend more time afterward on filming and other stuff.

As was predicted, No Country For Old Men was awesome. We had a new person show up. Bill, who we all call Bill, was able to make it out.
ummmm, yeah so it was fun.

Hey sluts! This week we are meeting at my house at 6:00pm 3/16/2008 (obviously). And really, we are starting the show at 6:00pm. I know it normally drags on and we don’t start till hours later, but we gotta change that, starting now. Anyway, we will be watching No Country For Old Men – which is an awesome awesome movie. Don’t miss out. Oh and someone bring some snacks. Nothing special or big, but you know, something awesome. Richie has supplied in the past, lets diversify.

Wow. You guys that didn’t show up really missed out. There were drugs… hot chicks… and more drugs… and that was about it. We watched “Factory Girl” and it was about the life of Edie Sedgwick, who was hot, and she kicked-it with Andy Warhol back in the day, and she got famous and died of a drug overdose when she was 28. It was kind of a sad movie cause she was hot but all in all it was a decently good movie. I enjoyed myself. Stephen, look at all of the funny, hidden jokes. See y’all next week, were watching “No Country For Old Men“. Later

For one reason or another a few of you were unable to make it. The meet was excellent, we watched Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon. Its such a good movie.
I’m not much of a fan of horror/slasher movies, but this one was excellent. Not only that, i but it had a bunch of great behind-the-scenes (exactly what the MovieGuild gatherings want more of) features.
Plus, Richie had his sweet TV over at my house (failed move-in)… so yeah good times. See you all there next week!
(ps. we got a picture, but I forgot to upload it from my camera. I’ll do that later this week.)
